Mortgage Loan Info & Help

 Where do you start looking to find a home mortgage loan or cash out equity loan?  Probably not where you'd first think to start.  Most people would probably go to their bank or credit union, where ever they have their checking account, and walk out without a loan (a "turndown"), or with some version of whatever mortgage program that particular bank has to offer.  But unless they have perfect credit, and high income, and low debt, and a personal relationship with their banker, they probably didn't get the best rate and terms they could have.  So...where do you start?  Start here.  I'll be posting a series of articles and excerpts and my own personal observations on how to find the perfect mortgage.  I'll even give you some tips on deciding what it is you want in a mortgage, whether its to buy a new house, or get a home equity loan on your current home.

I'll start off with some items found on Top 10 Lists, which answer a lot of questions about owning a home and finding financing for one.  You'll see some of my opinions and suggestions as well, and then some other articles about mortgage loan calculators and bad credit loans.  I'll also try to update this feed with other information as I find it, and continue to give you more of my knowledge as I can.

Some of the listings here may not have content yet, they're simply descriptions of articles I'll post in the next week or so, just so you can see what's coming.  I'll start off with a list of 10 reasons you should consider buying a home, if you're still renting.  It also includes some ideas on how you can accomplish this even if you don't have very much money for a down payment.
